I remember watching Saidah Baba Talibah perform at one of my first ever blogging events and remember saying to myself ” wow! this lady is a powerhouse” . After finding out that she is the offspring of Playwright & Performer Salome Bey, it only made sense why she performed so execeptionally well.
Take a listen to Saidahs EPK Part 1: Herstory & EPK Part 2: The Album – (S)Cream. Where she talks about the album, her passion for music and performing and her mother being an influence in her career.

I had the pleasure of meeting Capitol Records newest signee TRISH. After her show we chatted about her musical influences, what advice her father (a professional Bass guitar player who shared the stage with Bob Marley) gave her about the industry and her musical style.
TRISH is an artist, a beauty, a sick dancer and a lady to watch out for. Oh My God, This is Trish!
Check out her latest video BUMP (The Shoe’s Remix). The video was directed by photographer Warwick Saint who shot Lady GaGas’, Adam Lambert and Alicia Key’s album covers! Trish’s album is set to be released in Spring 2011.

KHALEL BIO:
Picture this… Baby Face, James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel, Musiq Soulchild, Raphael Saadiq, and Lionel Richie rolled into one artist. Well, that one artist is Khalel. He has a voice of an angel and is able to transition from chest to falsetto with ease. He calls his refreshing sound and style of music “Acoustic Folk Soul”.
Khalel was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and grew up in the Town of Milton. He was heavily influenced by a variety of music genres including Folk, Hip-Hop, Jazz, R&B, Reggae, and Rock. This variety helped shape Khalel’s own sense of style, over the years, before concentrating fully on music. He developed a passion for piano at an early age. Later on, he gravitated towards acoustic guitar. He has always focused on energizing and crisp vocals.
Khalel is a singer/producer/songwriter that has had great accomplishments throughout his career. For instance, he was featured on two of FLOW 93.5’s (Toronto’s first urban radio station) compilation albums showcasing some of Canada’s most requested artists on FLOW and two of his songs captured top 3 position on FLOW’s “Top 8 @ 8”.
With the ongoing support of Khalel’s manager, Emmitt Henry (former manager of the platinum selling rap group ONYX), Khalel continues to explore new ways to engage his audience and bring back the feelings of yesteryear: a time when music was full of emotion and artists wrote/sang music just for the love of it.
Khalel is currently heating up international charts with his hit record “We’ll Fly” and remixed single featuring Sonny Seeza, from the legendary rap group ONYX.
